Another stablecoin enters the market... but this one comes with yield! @Tether_to co-founder Reeve Collins is back, this time launching Pi Protocol, a decentralized project set to introduce $USP, a stablecoin backed by bonds and real-world assets. Unlike traditional stablecoins, $USP will let users earn yield via its $USI token, adding a new layer of utility to the space. With stablecoins already dominating crypto transactions (surpassing Visa & Mastercard in volume last year), it’ll be interesting to see how $USP stacks up against $USDT, $USDC, and $USDe.
