Product managers will eat good. Architects will eat good. Some Security guys will eat good. AI safety jobs will be created. MLops engineers will eat good. .. and some more new job categories will be created. Rest of IT folks will serve data to AI. It’s not going to happen overnight though. It will happen over the period of time. You will get a time to upskill. But the problem here is not many of mid age IT workers compete with cognitive ability of a Minecraft mind. So they will join a new gig economy. A new gig economy for IT workers where they are helping AI models to train better. They will make survival income // work hours will be long. A job like Swiggy rider but you not riding bike here but sitting on chair for 12-16 hours straight inviting both mental and physical health issues.
