Web3 created an illusion of a culture against the status quo among Gen Z. A few still believe in that, but it’s more like "status quo 2.0," where people sitting at the top order could exploit the bottom order with more efficiency and at a higher scale. It all changed the moment we stopped talking about hyperbitcoinization and started wishing for hyperdollarization, because it seemed the only legit narrative outside AI agents that made sense to us to save the culture which had already lost its roots. What we have is leftovers, and a bunch of people trying to bring fresh food back to the table so we could enjoy lunch together again.
