Representative Tim Moore disclosed new trades showing a leveraged bet against U.S. small-cap stocks Moore invested up to $215,000 in the Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X Shares ETF, $TZA. The ETF delivers three times the inverse daily erformance of the Russell 2000 Index, profiting when small-cap stocks decline. He is a member of the House Financial Services Committee.

Now this is unusual. Representative Tim Moore has disclosed purchasing at the end of June up to $30,000 of Direxion Daily Small Cap Bear 3X ETF, $TZA. It is literally 300% of the inverse of the daily performance of the Russell 2000 Index. He is playing a highly leveraged product while legislating.
