What I’d like any safety advocate to answer is how they contend with the fact all safety regulations limiting efficiency on exclusively the western hemisphere’s AI industry would only directly contribute to risk given every regulation hampering US/EU industry is a competitive advantage for unregulated, full accelerationist China, whose industry sees alignment as a baizuo joke and poses the greatest threat of producing unaligned AGI. I believe you guys refer to this as an “own goal”
