4 years ago the industry consensus was roughly you should be blacklisted for wearing a milady pfp due to the values it represents, including across the EF and its ecosystem. Milady’s were fired from teams and blocked from jobs. Our views have not changed whatsoever, and if the industry turns on us again, they still will not change. Wherever we are embedded, it’s because people sincerely share our beliefs an choose to fight for them at personal cost, for a free internet and a free marketplace of ideas; and wherever we are hated, it’s because the people they are fighting reject those beliefs. If the EF tomorrow falls prey to the enteyist agitators and reverts their stance, choosing to accept a “neocypherpunk” culture of censorship— we will still be here, arguing for a return to real cypherpunk values.
