Doesnt matter how awesome ur coin is When it goes up A LOT There is gonna be a shit load of unrealized gains from all the people in the world that held the coin up So lets say unrealized gains THAT WILL BE REALIZED = $300M USD on a 2B market cap coin and $1.7B USD out of 2B market cap is NOT gonna be realized, just diamond handed As daily demand/buying pressure/hype wanes and on daily say there is only about $5M USD net buy pressure its gonna take you at least 60 days to work through the 300M of unrealized gains that are going to be realized Its not possible to avoid dips or slowdowns no matter how good the coin, it happens The question is how much unrealized gains are there, will people who bought the top or close to it also realize LOSSES as they are down? yes. Because unrealized losses being REALIZED also adds to the sell wall that you will have to work through which can make the cool off period longer too Lets say at 2B market cap, $100M USD of buys came in above 1.5B And half of that is realized as a loss when the coin dips 50% thats another $50M USD of sell pressure to work through total sell pressure in this example $350M USD You have to work through that to go back up again strongly A LOT of coins currently that are up, have a similar breakdown as above LOTS of unrealized gains that will be realized, as well as future unrealized losses that will be realized.
