I know someone who didn’t finish secondary school but speaks fluent English.
In Africa, certificates are overrated. We attend school primarily to read and write English effectively, while others learn skills that are in demand. Yet, we make it obvious that those who speak English fluently are more intelligent, creating a false measure of brilliance.
This mindset contributes to our mounting debt and persistent low productivity. Nearly everything we use is imported, and our GDP keeps sinking year after year.
All the crypto centralized and decentralized exchanges entering the African market seem to be focused solely on volume partnerships.
Every time they approach me, the question is always, “How much volume can you bring us?” 😭
I believe that’s the wrong approach to doing business in Africa.
The reality is, there are still many barriers to full participation in cryptocurrency across the continent. One major gap is education — people need accessible ways to learn and truly understand crypto.
Some of us are already doing our best to bridge that gap — and this is exactly where these companies should be investing.
You have to invest in the people before you can expect to profit from them.
Crypto firms must understand: there’s still a lot of groundwork to be done in Africa before they can fully reap the benefits of this market.

Why do you people always feel that his account was reported? Stop spreading hate where there is none. I don’t think anybody reported his account to get suspended.
Many people accounts have been suspended here and not one person think of it as a consequence of people reporting the account.
Fuck off idiots
Nigeria Banks should be allowed to carry out Cryptocurrency transactions. The Government of Nigeria should bring back Luno and others they chased away and make a good framework for cryptocurrency operations in the country.
Everyday I wake up I see news of Blackrock, Strategy, Chase Bank and other Western financial institutions loading Bitcoin and ETHerum.
These people must sell it to people who refuse to do the right thing now at a higher price.
