$7M Oracle Manipulation Attack! 🚨 @KiloEx_perp, a DEX for perpetual futures, was exploited in a cross-chain oracle manipulation attack. The attacker used Tornado Cash to anonymously fund a wallet and executed transactions on Base, BNB Chain, and Taiko, exploiting a critical flaw in KiloEx’s price oracle system. By manipulating asset prices via flash loans and poor access control within the oracle setup, the attacker opened leveraged positions at artificially low prices, then cashed out inflated gains. One transaction alone netted over $3M! KiloEx has suspended operations and is working with partners to trace the funds and blacklist the attacker’s wallet.
