Investing in AI is somewhat similar to investing in public blockchains based on intelligence contracts. In theory, any public blockchain should be non-profit, approaching free access. Investors should essentially be doing public service, sponsoring—selfless, altruistic acts. Open source, open access, and public benefit—according to the law of conservation of energy, these investors will ultimately bear the cost of AI's success. AI should and must be non-profit, benefiting humanity.
