Look at this.
A week before he voted to cut Medicaid, Republican Congressman Rob Bresnahan sold up to $130,000 worth of stock in four companies that manage nearly half of all Medicaid enrollees in the country.
He sold Centene, $CNC, Elevance Health, $ELV, UnitedHealth, $UNH, and CVS Health, $CVS, on May 14-15.
Just one week later, when President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which slashed funding for Medicaid by nearly $1 trillion to help pay for tax cuts, he voted yes to the bill.
The stocks dropped afterwards.
Unusual.
