Yesterday, I was up until midnight working on the Dubai Event Creators Sponsorship sheet, adding notes to show off the strengths of all CCs who applied (as per requested by the project team). I dug into stuff like who they are, what they’re up to in this space, how big their community is, what projects they’ve worked with before, and the roles they played etc. Here’s the thing I figured out: relationships really matter. not because I’d be biased toward people I know 😅, but because when I know you, I can write a ton more about you and hype up your strengths. That’s what makes the client go, “Wow, this person’s awesome!” We've heard builders and KOL managers say over and over that relationships are key. And yeah, it’s not just about this one little thing, it’s a big deal in so many ways. It’s like, the better you connect, the more everyone wins 🥹🤝🏻
