I still think CEX is still the safest crypto storage method for beginners.
Even hack event like this, the security obligation is on the CEX.
They will find ways to cover / insure it.

Pro tip: diversify your asset into multiple trustworthy CEX.
(They are too profitable, to give up the business operation)
And even CEX will need to liquidate or bankrupt like @FTX_Official eventually,
Users are still protected by company act & legal procedure, priority to get refunded their assets.
For non-custodial wallet, is “too safe” to handle by beginners.
And still hack-able using social engineering method like this Bybit ETH hack case.

A month ago, I started with $4k, went into leveraged trading, and at its peak, my account grew to $60k. Today, it’s back to square one at $4k after being wiped out.
Technically, I didn’t lose any money, but it still feels like I’ve lost something, even though those unrealized profits were never really mine.

A bit exaggerated, but is a fact.
Every penny that you didn’t took profit that you originally could,
is still a loss to a trader.
In terms of, time & opportunity cost.
My algo shorted $BTC & $ETH since $103,000 & $4,020.
But why I didn’t follow?
Why you start a trade execution, is how you should end your trade as well.
From the beginning, my assumption & “why” of doing this $ETH trade,
I’m actually betting on $ETH beta will outperform $BTC eventually.
My target price of $ETH is easily $6,000-$8,000.
So this is my “potential profit margin” of trades,
From here, every risk is calculated and making sense.
And every profiting position that go in favour above > 8-15% , (depends on assets’ volatility )
I will cash out all my serving margin,
and let the position liquidation price be my breakeven price.
So anyhow I will lose nothing, but holding a 50% chance of 50-200x ticket.
After liquidation,
I’m using my minor profit from last trade $20k and LONG at a 15x ($300k contract value). 【Img 3】
And now my bet is positively serving.
I will add my position heavily without mercy whenever retails long position got REKTed.
Just like the previous day,
That’s why I say is time to buy the dip.
Cuz even my well managed liquidation space still got tackled down.
Whale really sucking in sell side liquidity hard.

The first naive thought of mine is genetic data storage & interpretation technology.
Human may literally become bio-life engineer.
Create, design, replicate any lifeforms using big data.
Even human can start to understand & create “consciousness”.
Hence, “Giving birth to new life”.
#BioTech is the next big deal.
After internet, blockchain, AI…
And with a slightest margin of error,
Doomsday come.
If human philosophical consciousness doesn’t move on as the pace of technology improvement.
