A lot of safety criticism on CEX about the @Bybit_Official ETH $1.5Billion hack. But for my PERSONAL perspective, I still think CEX is still the safest crypto storage method for beginners. Even hack event like this, the security obligation is on the CEX. They will find ways to cover / insure it. #SAFU Pro tip: diversify your asset into multiple trustworthy CEX. (They are too profitable, to give up the business operation) And even CEX will need to liquidate or bankrupt like @FTX_Official eventually, Users are still protected by company act & legal procedure, priority to get refunded their assets. For non-custodial wallet, is “too safe” to handle by beginners. And still hack-able using social engineering method like this Bybit ETH hack case. *not criticising DEX. It’s a different topic.
