Every few months, I pay a visit to the old online communities I used to be a part of There was a point in time where I was very similar to these people, ranging from physical traits, shared beliefs, and general intellect, etc Yet, everytime I go back I realize the same thing — I’m so different All of them stayed the same, never adapted, got comfortable, and I can’t even believe I used to consider myself like these people It’s fascinating to think that even though you could have the same core starting point as someone, a lack of adaptability will result in an extremely noticeable difference in end result never stop changing
